Remodelling of customer’s gold to make a new ring as per the shape / style / fit of the silver model they have approved which is size V, low profile ‘D’ shaped band (straight inner, curved outer) approx 5mm wide.
Notes: Customer has supplied a signet ring which they have advised is white gold. The ring is marked 750 which indicates the purity 18ct gold, but it does not contain a full UK hallmark which would confirm its purity has been legally tested and a hallmark applied by one of the four UK Assay offices to confirm purity. It will be tested by the casters prior to the new ring being cast.
Customer has received and returned a sterling silver ring which they have approved for style and size and this will be used to take a mould from in order to cast the new ring.
The new ring will be tested for purity and will have a full set of UK hallmarks applied.
By paying the deposit you confirm your understanding that your signet ring will now be melted down and can no longer be returned to you as the ring you have supplied. If there are any matters arising due to the gold purity you will be informed and we will discuss how to proceed.
The new finished ring should be ready in approx 28 days.
There will be a balance to pay of further £200 when the ring is complete as per the email quote dated 8.3.25
